It's Monday, What Are You Reading is a weekly blog meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey where you list the books you read last week and the ones you hope to read this week.
Read Last Week:
Ghost Story by Jim Butcher: I can't believe I waited so long to read this book! I loved it. Review to be posted Wednesday.
Reading This Week:
Ammie, Come Home by Barbara Michaels: I love Barbara Michaels. I read her every year. I haven't read this one before, so I am looking forward to it.
Deadly Gift by Heather Graham: I read the first two in this series a while ago! I decided it was time to finish this series.
Coming this week:
Tuesday: Top Ten Tuesday with The Broke and the Bookish
Wednesday: Review of Ghost Story
Thursday: My first post participating in R.I.P. VII - and it is going to be a television one!
Saturday: My review of The Awakening by Kate Chopin - my post as part of Shelia at Book Journey's Banned Book Week!! There will also be a giveaway, I hope you stop by!
I've never read a Barbara Michaels book but Ammie Come Home looks like the perfect book for Halloween! I have read some of the Amelia Peabody books and was surprised that Elizabeth Peters is also Barbara Michaels.
ReplyDeleteI keep meaning to read the Amelia Peabody books. I have no idea how I stumbled upon these books, but I am glad I did. They are perfect for this time of year, and reading all snuggled up.
Deletehave fun guest posting!
ReplyDeletebusy week ahead for you..
Do I tell you enough how much I love your blog?
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Belle!
DeleteOooh. Ammie Come Home! My favorite book this week was Dr. Seuss: The Cat Behind the Hat by Caroline W. Smith. Please come see what I'm reading now.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week and enjoy all your reads.
ReplyDeleteNot heard of these books but they sound interesting. Hope you have a great week of reading :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read a Jim Butcher book for ages, must get back to them. Have a great week and happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteI love Heather Graham's books. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI remember Kate Chopin's The Awakening as I think I have written a paper about it when I was in the university doing a few lit courses. It is beautiful, isn't it? Although I can't for the life of me remember any of the details any longer as it was more than ten years back, I think. Enjoy the rest of your week!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to read one of the Dresden Files books! I really need to check out that series. I've been thinking of trying the audio, though, since James Marsters does the narration. :)
