Top Ten Books On My Fall TBR

A weekly meme from The Broke and The Bookish

This weeks topic is:
Top Ten Books on My Fall TBR

1.  Cold Days by Jim Butcher:  I love the Harry Dresden series!

2.  The Twelve by Justin Cronin: I feel I have been waiting forever for this sequel to The Passage!!

3.  Into the Woods by Kim Harrison:  I just love the Rachel Mariana Morgan books!!

4.  Fairy Tales From the Brothers Grimm by Phillip Pullman:  I have always been a collector of different fairy tale books.  I love the Dark Materials books, so I am curious what he does with this collection.

5.  The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern: I know everyone on earth has already read this, but somehow I haven't! I am determined to read it this fall.

6. Beautiful Redemption by Kim Garcia and Margaret Stohl: I can't stay away from this series.  I feel like Don Corleone from the Godfather.

7.  Ten by Gretchen McNeil:  I am always looking for books that look scary, especially during the fall.  This book looks like it will fit the bill.

8. Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson:  I am a huge fan of Peter Pan stories, and Tiger Lily is one of my favorite characters from Peter Pan.  I am excited to read this! I have been on the waiting list at the library forever for it.

9.  The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater:  I read Stiefvater's werewolf series, and I liked that she took a little bit different direction with them. I am going to give this series a whirl too.

10.  The Demon Lover by Juliet Dark: I have to admit I am most excited about this book.  Juliet Dark is a pen name for Carol Goodman and Carol Goodman is definitely a top ten favorite author for me. I didn't realize she had a book out under a different name, so when I found it, I was super excited.

  4. I haven't read The Night Circus yet either, if that makes you feel better. And Into the Woods--is that a collection of short stories? I'm woefully behind on my Hollows reading (in fact, I lumped the 3 most recent into 1 number on my list), but hopefully I'll catch up soon. At first I snorted at the thought of vampires in Cincinnati--I'm from Ohio--but once I got past that and actually *read* the books...I fell in love immediately.

    1. I wasn't sure about The Hollows books either ~ but when I started reading them I loved them! I love that she is such a mess. Lol. One of my favorites was the one that took place in Mackinaw, I am a Michigander. ;) We are neighbors! Jenks and Trent are my favorite characters, besides Rachel. And Al! I guess I have quite a few favorite characters. Lol.

  5. You're the third person I've seen to have "The Night Circus" on your fall to-read list! Get to it! :) It really is great. Just that magical circus setting makes it worth the read.

    Happy reading!

  6. Am I the only one who is not interested in reading The Night Circus. Sorry.

I didn't know Philip Pullman had a Fairy Tale book. I'm going to have to look that one up.

  9. I'll be reading both The Night Circus and Ten for my book club this fall. :) I've heard great things about the Dresden Files books, but I'm a bit unsure about them because it's so far from my typical genre of choice, but maybe I'll pick up the first book sometime soon. Great choices!

Thanks for stopping by our top ten!
