Saturday Snapshot

   

This week was all about flowers and sunshine. I really love dandelions by the by. One afternoon I spent a few minutes just hanging on the porch step, and it was all sunshine and dandelions and my baby on my lap. It was a perfect moment.

This is Rorschach, Rory for short. He is around the neighborhood, chasing birds and climbing trees. I am not sure if he belongs to anyone, but he eats at our house.  He is shy and I am definitely going to get him fixed, as soon as I find out the answer to the ownership question.

I took this on vacation in Shenandoah National Park at Big Meadows Lodge- one of my favorite places ever.  I would take every vacation there if I could, but I am sure my husband wants to at least see a few different places. ;) It has been on my mind, since we have been talking about next year's trip, trying to decide where we want to go.  My hubs just got a new job, so this year we will just go on a little trip. But next year - the sky is the limit!

It was my last week before school, and I spent a day with my good friend and her two children.  I took many pictures, but this is one of my favorites!

I had a wonderful, busy week with my family.

I went blueberry picking with my father and my super adorable and sweet nephew Brayden.  

My husband and I also went to the Detroit Zoomance, at the Detroit Zoo.  A very cool event in the evening for adults 21 and over.  We had a blast walking around, looking at the animals, and hanging out with my husband's brother and soon to be sister-in-law.

Zebras are my favorite!

I did a few other things too - the Art Fair in my town with my mother, and today, a spa day with my other future sister-in-law.  It has truly been a great week.
