The Sunday Post/It's Monday! What are you reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date

I had a great week, full of activity! After months of being kind of housebound, it was nice to get out, socialize, have a different kind of fun. We had a family craft night, Billy and I went on a date night, and my friend had one of those at home leggings parties. I even bought a pair to bop around the house in - they are so soft!

Read Last Week:

I finished up the two books I was working on. The Robyn Carr book was particularly good!

Reading This Week:

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne - my friend's June book club pick
and I will probably pick something else up at the library tomorrow too. :)

Watching:

Alone, Orange is the New Black, The Ranch, GLOW, The Good Witch

How about you? What have you been up to?

  1. The Boyer cozy sounds like a fun series. I just published my last YOP post of the year and am thinking I am going to participate again as I'm already thinking about my me-list.

    1. I like it! It's good for when you want a pretty easy fun read. And it takes place in the south, one of my favorite settings for books.

Your work is so amazing! I always love to see what you are working on.

    2. Thank you very much. Is your SIL using a particular pattern or just winging it? What's most important is doing a craft you love that calms you and makes you happy.

    3. I'm pretty sure she is using a pattern, because at craft night she told me that the first instruction was that she wind all that yarn into that ball. Is there a name for that? And I agree. ;)

  2. Love the look of Lowcountry Bombshell...and I've been eyeing the new Robyn Carr book. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog. Enjoy your week.

    1. Lowcountry Bombshell was pretty good! I read them all out of order, which is normal for me, and while this is the second book, it's maybe the fourth book I have read in the series. I would say it is maybe my favorite.

      :)

  4. Glad you had a great week! Date nights are the best. And that restaurant sounds awesome! I'm so out of the loop on detroit restaurants these days...

Hope The Hating Game is good. My TV watch has slackened although I'm liking Orphan Black season three so far, and still watching Shetland. I do kinda want to try The Mist...

    1. We are too, actually! We are having fun slowly finding all the new places in Detroit and the surrounding metro area. :)

I want to watch it too, I think. The movie upset me because it had such a different ending than the book. I hope that the show is better. The story freaked me out!

  8. Usually our dates are lunch dates. I can't recall a recent date night. It's been a busy week with a cracked toilet, day camp, and paperwork for cross country. Come see what I'm reading

    1. We usually don't get to go out, unless it is with munchkin. My mom decided it was high time we rejoin the world. Yay for moms! :) A cracked toilet does not sound fun! :(

I love hearing from people, don't be shy! I would love to hear what you think! I always reply back, although it takes me a bit longer these days due to the little guy.
