It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday, What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey, that is guaranteed to add to your reading list.

I was able to break my reading fast! I didn't read a lot, but I did read. Yay!

Last week was another rough one, even worse than the week before, but things are starting to look up.  Hopefully I will be able to share about it soon.

Read Last Week:

Fair Game by Patricia Briggs: My husband picked this up for me, since we love Patricia Briggs. I really enjoyed it, although it was the third in this series and I hadn't read the other two. I am definitely going to read the rest of the series.

The Body in the Woods by April Henry: This was good! I have a lot to say about it, so look for my upcoming review.

Reading This Week:

Like last week, I don't have much of a plan, just a few books I might be choosing from.

The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness: I am excited to get to this book!

Better Homes and Hauntings by Molly Harper: I have to confess, I have been reading this off and on, and it is a fun read.

The Cater Street Hangman by Anne Perry: I read this series before, and I felt like revisiting.

  3. I read the first Alpha & Omega and have read all of the Mercy Thompson except the newest one. I didn't enjoy River Marked that much, so I stopped reading her since that book released, but honestly I should pick one up again as she is the first UF author that clicked with me: intelligently written, fun, good descriptions..I usually avoid vampires and weres but she makes me like them :)
    Enjoy your week!

    1. I liked River Marked, but I have to say, I like Mercy and Adam better not married for some reason. The last book I read in the series was amazing! Loved it!

  6. I listened to Book of Life last month, and read the arc of the Molly Harper book- which was weird because I've listened to almost all of her other books on audio so reading it in print felt wrong. Both were great reads!

  7. I love Patricia Briggs, though I love her Mercy Thompson series more than the other one. Still, everything by her is really good. She's got some older fantasy books that are great. I also love Anne Perry, have you read the Monk series as well? I just find Monk and Hester more interesting than Thomas and Charlotte. Have a great week!

I love hearing from people, don't be shy! I would love to hear what you think! I always reply back, although it takes me a bit longer these days due to the little guy.
