The Sunday Post/It''s Monday! What Are You Reading?

Check out the The Caffeinated Book Review for the Sunday Post
It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date

Last week was all about change. Wyatt started preschool, and we are having to redo our routine. It's a work in progress! I feel like there is more time to blog and read on my horizon, at least on the days he goes to school. Or that is the plan anyway for now!

We had some great family time this Saturday, hanging out at the metropark then going out for lunch. It was a nice time - the weather was sunny but still cold. I am so ready to not have to wear a coat!

Read Last Week:

The Family Gathering by Robyn Carr: I really love reading about this family! This maybe was my favorite in this series so far!

Hello, Sunshine by Laura Dave: Another great read for the week. I devoured it. So good. I do have to say I was a little shocked by the end!

Reading This Week:

It's time for my annual reread! My favorite book on earth.

I also have a bunch of books on hold - if one comes in, I will read that one as well.

Watching:

Superstore - this show is hilarious. It surprised us on how funny it is!!

Supernatural - we are trying to catch up but we aren't going to make it before the Scooby Doo episode that airs this week.

I'm also watching Drop Dead Diva on Netflix. I think I am feeling like easy breezy type tv and reads right now. Maybe because I have spring fever?

What about you all? Anything going on?

I'm still watching Riverdale but I'm behind *sigh* and The 100 is coming back soon- yesss!!!

  2. You had a nice variety of activities. Yay for that. Today was a lazy day after brunch. I was feeling a bit lost after figuring out the cardigan had to be frogged. I catnapped on my 10 year old's bed while she played Pokemon Sun and her sister played some game on her iPad.

    1. Lazy days are great. And catnaps surrounded by your kids - sounds so cozy. :) Little quiet moments that life is made of. :)

    2. My three year old nephew is particular about his food; he won't eat rice if there's stuff on it, LOL. I love brunch too more than going out for dinner b/c I love potatoes and eggs. Once in a while we'll have brinner.

  3. I've never read Watership Down, but my husband often talks about an audiobook of it that he listened to when younger. I hope you enjoy your reread; returning to tried & true favourites is always nice.

I hope you're able to get into the swing of your new routine soon. A lovely week to you; bookish & otherwise.

    1. I have heard there are some great audiobook versions of Watership Down. It is a fantastic read. I look forward to my springtime read every year.

Thanks Jade! I am trying to catch up on blog stuff while the boy is gone. He had another cold, so today is his first day back. Fingers crossed for no tears!

  7. I'm so behind on my review reads that I don't know if I'll get to do my annual re-read of anything this year. So far I don't feel like I need the break, but that will probably change mid-summer when I usually get the craving for a favorite. See what I've read at Girl Who Reads

    1. It's my favorite book ever. I read it when I was a kid, and fell in love with these rabbits. The cartoon however was terrifying. I love to read it in the spring, and get fanciful about the lives of the neighborhood rabbits. Lol.

I love hearing from people, don't be shy! I would love to hear what you think! I always reply back, although it takes me a bit longer these days due to the little guy.
