It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date

So May was not the best month for me and blogging! I hope to do better this month - I really miss it when I don't get this time. We have been having lots of little family adventures though lately! And ice cream. All good things.

Read Last Two Weeks:

Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty: This was really good! My first by this author, but I did watch the HBO show Pretty Little Lies, which led me here. This won't be the last I read by Moriarty!

The Sound of Glass by Karen White: Still reading my way through White's backlist, and loving it. It's also a good way to pass the time while waiting for all my library holds to trickle in.
This one had a crazy good twist!

The Widow's House by Carol Goodman: Loved it. Loved it!!! I love this author, and this book was no exception.

Reading This Week:

I am looking forward to starting this one! I am also hitting the new books section tomorrow at the library - always so exciting!

Watching:

We are addicted to all the farm series shows produced by BBC - we watched Edwardian and Victorian Farm, and are now watching Tudor Farm. They are available on Youtube actually! We are also watching The Durrells (more books I am waiting on, the Corfu Trilogy!), iZombie, Supernatural, HGTV shows, and The Handmaid's Tale. We began Twin Peaks but haven't watched since, although we do plan on going back.

So what's been going on in your world? Good stuff I hope!

I haven't! I think my husband may have though. I will have to watch it! I loved Powerless, which was a comedy about superheroes- I thought I would hate it but I loved it. Lol.

    1. I enjoyed them all so much they made it difficult to read someone new! I guess I will have to read them until I am sick of them. Lol. Well not Goodman, since I have read all of hers already, but the others. So glad you like them too!

  6. You should read What Alice Forgot by Moriarty. What a hoot! I really liked it.

I love the cover of the Sound of Glass! I love sea glass in general and used to have a whole vase full of it :)

    1. I still need to change my link for you in my blogroll! I will definitely read that Moriarty book - I loved the one I read, and I love when I can read a new to me author's backlist. Woohoo!

I love it too! It is so pretty and soothing looking. One character in this book loved it as well, and made windchime after windchime from it.

I am glad too! We are constantly battling to put weight on his bones, and ice cream helps! :)

  7. Ice cream! Do let us know if you discover any new flavors we need to know about. :) When Blue Bell returned, it didn't bring my favorites back with it. :(

    1. Aw that stinks!!! My current favorite is Scooby Doo ice cream from Guernsey Dairy, which is another local dairy farm. I am not sure where all they ship to or who carries them. Their ice cream is amazing!

I love hearing from people, don't be shy! I would love to hear what you think! I always reply back, although it takes me a bit longer these days due to the little guy.
