It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date
Well, if this Halloween was any indication of the holidays to come, we are going to be busy over here! I had no idea how busy a holiday could be lol! And Wyatt is still a baby and didn't trick or treat! We had a great night although he was a bit baffled by the whole proceedings. He fell asleep, woke up in a costume and had cameras instantly in his face - he handled it well, but I think it was partly because he was still in a sleep induced haze.
Our little Ewok
He looked super cute with his cousin who was dressed like Princess Leia!
It was a fun weekend, filled with pumpkin carving, too many treats, and family.
Read Last Week:
Season of the Witch by Christopher Knight aka Jonathan Rand (American Chillers): I had forgotten how much I liked this book! And I loved reading a Michigan author!
Reading This Week:
One of these, I'm not sure which!
Posted Last Week:
My plan for the week is to get a few reviews in, and also catch up on commenting! Fingers crossed for a few naps longer than 15 minutes for the boy.
Watching:
The Walking Dead - so far this season is amazing!!
The Originals, Supernatural, iZombie, and The Vampire Diaries
Glad you had a nice but busy Halloween. I love the Star Wars costumes. The kids are so adorable! I had a quiet Halloween. I worked and came home to watch some Netflix and read a scary book.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week!
Thanks! It seemed appropriate this year to break out the Star Wars theme. :) A quiet Halloween sounds lovely too! Sometimes it's what you need. :)
DeleteOh my goodness, those babies are so cute! Wyatt looks a little bewildered in the first picture... just adorable.
ReplyDeleteNickolas Butler's novel, Shotgun Lovesongs, was so good, and I hope you decide on Beneath the Bonfire. I really want to read it, too.
I loved Shotgun Lovesongs! I hope this one is as good. It seems like the right time of year to start reading it.
DeleteLol, he really was! He went from a nice warm sleep to the paparazzi! :)
OMGosh, stinkin' cute the pair of them. Classic Star Wars, that's the way to go.
ReplyDeleteThanks!! We are big Star Wars fans and thought this year would be the perfect year to do Star Wars. :)
DeleteCute pics! An Ewok- how cool. :) Our Halloween was pretty slow, it rained a ton and we hardly got any kids, which was a bummer cause growing up I loved it when the kids came in droves and it was super busy. Oh well... just our neighborhood I guess.
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys had a good one. Your new books both look good.
Thanks! Our Halloween had more kids than I expected with the weather we had. :( I miss those days of a million trick or treaters too - where did they all go?
DeleteYour Halloween sounds like heaps of fun and I'm sure Wyatt will really be into it next year. Enjoy whichever book you choose to read this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathryn! I am already looking forward to next Halloween lol.
DeleteYour Halloween sounds like such fun, cute photos. Next Halloween you won't be able to hold Wyatt back lol. All your books are new to me, happy reading whichever one you decide to pick up.
ReplyDeleteWe had a great time playing with the babies. Lol. They are so funny together! I am looking forward to next Halloween already - we have been tossing costume ideas around even!
DeleteAdorable, adorable!!!
