    Haven't seen Michigan on a list yet. I don't think I've read anything set there.

    Have you read Anne Rice's Lives of the Mayfair Witches series? Lots of New Orleans.

    I love your list! I just read Cover of Snow by Jenny Milchman, it is set in the Adirondacks, and is a terrific read. I've never been to New Orleans, but would love to go someday. More books set on farms would be fantastic!
