It's Monday, What Are You Reading is a weekly blog meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey where you list the books you read last week and the ones you hope to read this week.
Read Last Week:
I only managed one book last week! I had the reading blahs, but rushed to the library for Blue Asylum by Kathy Hepinstall when my hold came in.
Blue Asylum by Kathy Hepinstall: I really really wanted to read this. My dad used to take us to Sanibel Island on vacation every year, so when I read that was the setting, coupled with the fact that it seemed it was on the eerie side, I had to read it. I thought it was well written and enjoyable until the end. And I absolutely loved the character Ambrose!
Reading this Week:
The Secret Sense of the Wildflower by Susan Gabriel: I am going a little Indie this week, starting with Secret Sense of the Wildflower. It just sounded like a perfect book fit for me.
Ciao by Bethany Lopez: From the Stories about Melissa series. Beth has the touch when it comes to writing about teens, its almost like she is tied into their particular culture. I am looking forward to reading the third installment in the series.
The Waters of Star Lake by Sara Rath: I wanted to read this last week, I just was so blahy. I am back on track this week though!
A Year on Ladybug Farm by Donna Ball: This just sounded fun!
This week I am celebrating the Indie Author with author interviews and a Giveaway!! Check back Tuesday for a chance to win Ciao!
Blue Asylum sounds good. I didn't get much reading done either.
