The Sunday Post/It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Check out the The Caffeinated Book Review for the Sunday Post
It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date

This week has been so gross hot! I am ready for fall.  Wyatt's definitely in his "terrible twos" and while is still his sweet little self, also can throw some mammoth tantrums! It's been crazy. Lol. It's all part of learning and growing, I know, but still - it doesn't make it easier at times. Lol. I am sure he doesn't like this weather either.

I had a very productive blogging week! I posted three times here on QM, and then three times on my other blog, Still Life, With Cracker Crumbs. I don't think I will get there this week, not enough prep over the weekend this weekend, but I am pretty excited.

Read Last Week:

I am still reading this book - I am about 75% of the way through it. I am taking my time with it. It is so good! And I love this cover.

Reading This Week:

Finishing up The Witches of New York. I will also be starting

Yay! I am so excited!! I love Hoffman's books - I am looking forward to starting this one!

Received this week for review:

I've paged through A Charm of Goldfinches and love it already! I loved Sewell's Owls book, so I am looking forward to this new one.

    1. We seem to be in the same cycle of books every week, back and forth! Lol. I can't wait to begin Rules of Magic, but I just need to finish Witches first. (which is really good as well)

I love the Haven Point series. There is another series she has, but HP is my favorite. :)

  10. Oh boy, temper tantrums. I don't miss those days. My tween was the worst. She would scream, cry, and kick the walls in her room in the SF apt until her dad opened the door and yelled at her. The youngest didn't throw tantrums; she would just stomp off. Watch out, some say 3's are the new 2's.
Do be verbal about The Witches of New York book. I'm so drawn to it as witches have a special place in my heart. Have you read Deborah Harkness's All Souls Trilogy. To me, it was like an intellectual Twilight. I loved it and is one of the very few, Kindle books I own.

    1. How did I miss this? Sorry! Oh my goodness - these tantrums are crazy. Lol. It's so hard to be 2 and unable to express yourself! I feel for him but holy moly. Lol.

I love books about witches as well. I have read the All Souls Trilogy! I really enjoyed it too. Have you read The Thinking Woman's Guide to Magic? That is one of my favorite books ever, I think. I love it.
