It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date!

I'm a little tardy to the party today! I blame the snow. Lol. We are having a crazy March snowstorm today with an expected 5 inches. The weather this month has been absolutely crazy ~ I know March comes in like a lion and all that, but this is ridiculous! Right after midnight on the first of March, we had severe thunderstorms with a chance of tornadoes. Last Wednesday we had hurricane force winds that took out the power for 600,000 plus people in our area. Some people are still waiting for their electricity to be restored! Now today, snowstorm from hell. (Do they have snowstorms in hell?)

Read Last Week:

The Turn by Kim Harrison: I loved this book!! I can't wait for the next book in this series - and I seriously hope there even is one.

The Sh!t No One Tells You About Toddlers by Dawn Dais: Because all of a sudden my sweet boy can be a little stinker! Lol.

Reading This Week:

The Widow's House by Carol Goodman: I love Carol Goodman, although her more recent books haven't resonated as well with me. I am hoping that this one is a return to the Goodman I love. If not, I will be grabbing an older one off of my shelf, just to remind myself of the magic of her words!

Watching:

Santa Clarita Diet, Riverdale, Supernatural, Bones, The Mick, The Crown

  1. Has the weather been crazy or what? That windstorm was something else- although we didn't lose power. I know people over in the Saginaw area though who were told it might be the weekend til they were restored! Yeesh. March is crazy so far. WE didn't get that much snow though, just enough to make the road slippery.

I've been seeing good reviews for the Turn. And I'm still watching Riverdale. :)

  3. Chuckling over the toddler remark and book. As a great aunt I just enjoy them but can leave them!! By the way totally agree with your remark over Pam in a Million Little Things on my blog. I just thought it was so unlike what I knew of her.

  4. We just got a dusting of snow up here, only about half an inch. Apparently Michigan decided February should be spring and March should be winter. Crazy backwards state. :)

  5. The toddler book looks like a fun read. When our kids were younger, my husband came across a website created by a dad who featured items his kids effed up. It was funny then, because my kids drew on the walls with Sharpie, etc.

I love hearing from people, don't be shy! I would love to hear what you think! I always reply back, although it takes me a bit longer these days due to the little guy.
