It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date!
This past week was better for our family, thank goodness. I was pretty busy, but it was all fun - hair appointment, book club, and my sister in law's baby shower. I had a blast at book club - I love my friends. Alyssa made the best darn food too - Chickpea dumpling soup, pizza, chocolate cake. I was drowning in delicious comfort foods washed down by wine. Lol. I also had a morning coffee date with my husband, which was really nice. We don't get enough time just the two of us, hanging out. And finally, today we had a big family dinner with my mom, brother, aunt, and cousin and his family over at my cousin's house. It was an awesome time, and one we plan to repeat every month.
I'm pretty excited about February. Usually the slowest yuckiest month here in Michigan, this year I am going to embrace it, and do some Valentines things. I am currently making valentines for Wyatt to send to his friends, and planning a few more fun outings, including a dinner out for Billy and I at a restaurant we've been wanting to go to. It is also my book club month! I am having a hard time deciding on a book - I am open to suggestions for a fun, lighthearted read, that is easy for everyone to get at a library. I was kind of thinking The Readers of Broken Wheel?
Read Last Week:
In keeping with my week of comfort, I sought out a comfort read. I've read this before, and I can't help but love it. And, it snowed! It's been so ugly and gross here, that we needed a little bit of happy snow.
Reading this Week:
So, moving on!
Confessions of a Domestic Failure by Bunmi Laditan: I am looking forward to this fun sounding read! From NetGalley.
Watching:
Veronica Mars, How to get Away with Murder, Sherlock, Top Chef, Alone - the list is getting kind of long! I blame winter. Lol.
