It's Monday, What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey, that is guaranteed to add to your reading list.
Read Last Week:
I managed to read a book! School and let's be honest, watching the Olympics, took up most of my free time. But I did manage to knock out at least our book club book for the month. I think I am also getting the February wintertime blues, and am preoccupied with some things. But this week will be different! I am on spring break from classes! I still work, but at least there won't be homework!

The Perfect Match by Kristan Higgins: Fun little read!
Reading This Week:
The Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks: I started this last week, and I am still working on it. I like it so far.
The Undead Pool by Kim Harrison: I am super excited about this one! I am going to see Kim Harrison on Tuesday night! Yay!

I am glad the Olympics are over! I need to get more done too. The Perfect Match was a fun read! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteOmg, they were a major time suck for me. I am an Olympics addict!
DeleteI'll miss the Olympics but am kinda glad they're over if only so I can get reading again! We've been watching the games pretty much every night. Hope your week is a good one.
ReplyDeleteWe devoted our lives to watching them it seems, in this house. Lol. I hope your week is great as well!
DeleteI missed nearly all of the Olympics. :( Hope you have a good reading week :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Maree!

I am really loving it! As much as you can love a sad book set during the Plague that is. :)
DeleteI really lacked on reading this past week - I'm keen to get back on track for the end of February!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
:-)
Bits & Bobs
Yes me too! Maybe March will be a better month. :)
DeleteI hope you enjoy meeting Kim Harrison. I was supposed to meet her on Thursday but had to cancel. Luckily, I met her when she toured one of her earlier books. I'm also waiting for the paperback before I buy The Undead Pool since I don't have time to read it now anyway. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteYes, I met her last year too, when she kicked off Ever After. I think this is a tradition I can get behind! Lol. Unfortunately, she only has one book left in this series. NOOOOOOOOOOO! :( Thanks for popping by!
DeleteI can't wait to read The Undead Pool, though I'm a few books behind the series at the moment. You're lucky to get to meet Kim Harrison, I'd love to meet her at some point, love this series. Hope you enjoy the book!
ReplyDeleteI am super duper excited! Lol!
DeleteI loved Year of Wonders when I read it many years ago. I've always meant to pick up more of Brooks's work, but I just haven't yet.
ReplyDeleteIt is so good!! I had a really hard time reading the parts where her kids die, especially the baby. :( But it is so well written, and such an interesting book.
DeleteYep - school can put a real hitch in your free reading time. I can attest to that for you. Hang in there! There's nothing so great as finishing school and walking across that stage to collect your degree. A top 10 in my lifetime experiences.
ReplyDeleteI am really excited to be done. Lol. Unfortunately, that is a ways away. School is going well, it's just draining! :)
DeleteNot sure if my last comment posted - hope you are enjoying Year of WOnders! I will leave it there... in case this doesn't post :)
