It's Monday, What Are You Reading?

It's Monday, What Are You Reading is a weekly blog meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey where you list the books you read last week and the ones you hope to read this week.

Read Last Week:

The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, #1)

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater:  Awesome book, I loved it!!! I wish the next book in the series was out already! :)

Reading This Week:

Serpent's Kiss (The Beauchamp Family #2)

The Diviners by Libba Bray: I am excited about reading this book - I love the 20s.

Serpent's Kiss by Melissa de la Cruz:  I read the first in the series, and thought it was pretty good.  I am looking forward to this one, the second in the series.

Still Reading:

Long Lankin

Long Lankin by Lindsey Barraclough: I am still working on this, I am finding it a bit slow going.

  1. A lot of people are reading The Raven Boys - if it's at all as good as The Scorpio Races, I want to read it also. Steifvater did such a good job on Scorpio Races, it stayed in my mind long after reading it.

And the Long Lankin - some interesting books you have listed, which of course are going on my wish list. :)

  2. I'm leaning towards The Raven Boys yet find myself under a pile of books that I really want to read but don't seem to be getting read. It could be a mini-rut that I'm in. Hopefully, I pull out of it soon.

    1. :( I find reading a favorite easy light book helps when I am in a rut. Like Little House on the Prairie or a mystery. :) I understand though, I get in those too.

  9. The Diviners sounds different - and I love the 20s! I think I'd better add The Raven Boys to my TBR list, as it seems to be one people are really enjoying! :)

  12. If you enjoy the 20's, you may enjoy Silhouette of a Sparrow by Molly Beth Griffin. It's YA and a quick read.
