R.I.P. Reading Challenge

hosted by Stainless Steel Droppings

I love this time of the year, Halloween and all the fixings. Cider, scary movies, the changing of the leaves..and this reading challenge is a fun way to track the scary books I read! I usually sign up in September but I was crazy adjusting to school and work. I am excited for October and I am determined not to let it fly by.

My little guy and I took an autumn walk yesterday!

I am planning on reading (hopefully!) four scary books this season, which ones, I don't know yet. Any suggestions, blogging world? (you know you do!)

  1. Ooh, Amy Lukavics's DAUGHTERS UNTO DEVILS. It's dark, creepy, and short enough for one sitting :)

  2. For yourself, have you read Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book? I was introduced to it by the godfather of my kids. It was so good. I smile every time I see or read about stroller walks. I used my Graco all the time, pushing each daughter in that. That's also how I got out and about. I even bought these hooks that clip onto the handlebar so I could hang shopping bags when me and my mum shopped at the malls.

    1. I did read it!! It was really good. I could do with a reread even of actually. :)

I am so excited to get outside on walks in the sunshine again. Our summers are so humid it is rough during the day, so we mainly take them in the evening during the summer. Which is nice too, but not the same. I need to get some bag hooks maybe - I definitely need a cup holder! We have a Jeep stroller that has all the amenities (lol) but I generally use our umbrella stroller that is more bare bones. :(

    2. Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my HP post. Strollers can be bulky and such a pain to have to load and unload besides lay out. I don't blame you for wanting easiness.

I love hearing from people, don't be shy! I would love to hear what you think! I always reply back, although it takes me a bit longer these days due to the little guy.
