I keep meaning to read more of Christie's work.

Wishing you and your family a happy new year. We have had more time with family and less time doing things that we don't enjoy. I'm a big cheeseball so it worked for me, plus I am a sucker for anything small town, quirky characters. :) And thanks Rita! It is a resolution of mine this to try and find more "me" time - does that ever work when you have a young child, or am I dreaming? :)
Erin @ Quixotic Magpiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10528275471104279266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7525935409718931244.post-10156872858000232692016-12-29T15:08:12.531-08:002016-12-29T15:08:12.531-08:00And thank you for your sweet comment on my Monday ...And thank you for your sweet comment on my Monday post. Our Christmas was very simple this year which is fine. Just trying to get 100% healthy right now. I read (and really enjoyed) And Then There Were None-- but a long time ago, and more recently Close Your Eyes, Hold Hands, City of the Lost, and Court of Mist and Fury. I also read Broken Wheel, but I was in the minority who didn't favor this one. I found it kind of "corny" to be honest but glad you loved it. Considering you have a little guy who takes up much of your time, and school and work, wow you did well with your reading and your choices, in my opinion. I have the second in City of the Lost series from NG, to read after the new year.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7525935409718931244.post-15104119507261974232016-12-29T10:15:40.741-08:002016-12-29T10:15:40.741-08:00Thanks!! The Oregon Trail was really, I definitely recommend it!! The beginning was a teeny bit slow, but I found once they actually hit the trail it picked up. And Menagerie was awesome!Erin @ Quixotic Magpiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10528275471104279266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7525935409718931244.post-42951136511726531642016-12-28T13:57:17.199-08:002016-12-28T13:57:17.199-08:00Great list! Lewis & Clark always fascinated me. I liked City of the Lost and can't wait for the next one.

Menagerie I keep forgetting about!!! I think your blog might be where I saw it, and it sounded great. I love the idea of it, but for some reason never got it. Definitely adding it for 2017!
